This client wanted a unique rustic cabinet that stood out against the knotty pine interior of their new lake home. The look we developed used rustic knotty alder lumber direct from the saw mill (look close and you can see the original sawmill marks). The joints of the door panels and frames are purposefully left uneven and are distressed. The cabinetmaker exceeded expectations on this project. We added copper accents to the range hood with pyramid shaped cut nails to hold them on. The copper highlights are carried into the bar counter on the island that features Radianz quartz countertops with bits of copper embedded into it, and into the accent tiles in the backsplash. Only the views of the lake out shine the home’s interior.
